FIRE RISK ASSESSMENTS

This assessment is a legal document, under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. All businesses with employees or where the public might enter or live are required to have a Fire Risk Assessment, and penalties can apply*. A ‘responsible person’ is required; they may be the owner, the manager, a Director, a Committee Member or a designated employee.

The assessment would take into account the building, exit and egress, processes in manufacturing, chemicals stores, procedures in the event of fire, furniture, electrical, disabled etc.

Should you have this responsibility or are seeking advice regarding a Fire Risk Assessment, please contact us in the office to arrange a survey.

*if a risk assessment is not available
